Hello!

My name is Dr. Peter Gaffney and I'm a psychiatrist practicing in Sacramento, California. My practice is devoted exclusively to individual adult psychotherapy, although I do prescribe psychiatric medications if they are needed in the course of the therapy process.

I decided to create this web site because I had become aware that there are not that many psychiatric therapists in the Sacramento area, that a lot of them are not accepting new patients, and that there are many people in Sacramento who would like psychotherapy, from a psychiatrist, but had no good way of finding a therapist who could see them. So the purpose of this page is to provide a way for patients and myself to find out about and connect with each other.
